Organization of Pilgrimages in Schoenstatt
As a result of discussions between the groups interested in using the original shrine – the Pallottines and representatives of the Schoenstatt Movement – Fr Muenz, Provincial Superior in Limburg, sent a letter dated 29.9.1970 with the following content:
“In the discussions we had from 7 August and 25 September this year, we worked out an organization of the churches and pilgrimages for the shrine of grace of our Lady of Schoenstatt. We have discussed and examined the wishes you raised on 25 September in the Provincial Council …
I enclose a copy of this organization of the churches and pilgrimages, which come into force on 1 October 1970. I suggest that we meet again at the end of a year to exchange experiences.
In the hope that this organization of the churches and pilgrimages will serve a peaceful and fruitful development of our Marian spirituality in Schoenstatt’s pilgrimage shrine,
