When the house chronicle leaves us in the lurch, we have to search for other sources. Here we are served by the memoirs of Fr Michael Kolb about the final decisions taken during his term of office as Provincial Superior, which had consequences for the shrine and old house.

The official letter in which Fr Kolb, the Provincial Superior, transferred the old house and shrine to the permanent use of the Apostolic Movement was printed in the MTA magazine, p. 20, Vol 13 of 15 November 1919.
