Breading Through the Wall at the Heroes’ Graves 1969

KN Nr. IV/44, 27.10.1969, p. 522:

On 22.10.1969 the wall that surrounded the Pallottine garden from the youth house to the street corner was broken through.

On 23.10.1969, a large hole could be seen next to the heroes’ graves where the first Stations of the Cross used to hang. It is big enough for vehicles to pass through. The topsoil from the building site behind the Old Tower is being removed. It is taken diagonally across the vegetable garden past the shrine and through the opening in the wall to the Pilgrims’ Place. The intention is to raise the level with good humus.
